Education has no age limit. Many women in the Moroccan society did not get the chance to whether pursue their education or learn foreign languages due to lack of means or social obstacles while they did not lost interest and will in learning and developing their personal abilities.
The Women’s Education project is made to offer to women a second chance to meet international volunteers and learn from them in order to be able to understand and communicate with international people for better opportunities.
Project’s goal:
Help the local women to learn and develop a new language
Assist women in learning new sewing and cooking skills
Volunteers get experience in women empowerment
Volunteers learn more about the women’s position in Morocco
Programs are based in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco.
Volunteers work 5 days per week and 4 hours at least per day.
Volunteers are placed in local NGOs that are working actively to provide education and support to the people of the local community in order to improve both their personal and educational skills.

GEM Volunteer testimonial:
I had such an amazing time in Rabat! This program immersed me in the culture while also providing a meaningful experience through volunteering. I was a solo traveler, and I felt the staff was very accommodating and accessible. They even assisted me with basic Arabic language skills and transportation information, which was very helpful. It was a comfortable process all along the way. I highly recommend this group as a way to experience immersive travel while being able to contribute in a real and positive way to the local community.
